Cyber security risk management in the selected company

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se převážně věnuje kybernetické bezpečnosti. Pro plné pochopení této oblasti je potřeba čtenáře seznámit se základními termíny, jako je kyberprostor, kybernetická bezpečnost, atributy bezpečnosti apod. Dále se tato práce věnuje řízení rizik kybernetické bezpečnosti se zaměřením na Českou republiku a její legislativu. Práce představuje a popisuje jednotlivé kroky procesu řízení rizik v organizaci. V praktické části práce je proveden celý proces řízení rizik v konkrétním podniku. Celý proces je detailně zmapován a je porovnáván s procesem řízení rizik, který v podniku v minulosti proběhl. Posouzení procesu řízení rizik v dané organizaci je jedna ze dvou hlavních výzkumných otázek bakalářské práce. Doporučení efektivnějšího způsob hodnocení rizik je druhým cílem této práce.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis is mainly focused on cyber security. For a full understanding of this area, the reader needs to be introduced to basic terms such as cyberspace, cybersecurity, security attributes, etc. Furthermore, this work focuses on cyber security risk management with a focus on the Czech Republic and its legislation. The thesis presents and describes the individual steps of the risk management process in an organisation. In the practical part of the thesis, the whole process of risk management in a specific company is performed. The whole process is mapped out in detail and is compared with the risk management process that has taken place in the company in the past. The assessment of the risk management process in the given organization is one of the two main research questions of the bachelor thesis. Recommending a more effective method of risk assessment is the second objective of this thesis.
