Special needs in the field of nutrition at preschool age child

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá speciálními potřebami v oblasti výživy u dětí předškolního věku. Hlavním cílem práce je zhodnotit současnou situaci týkající se speciálních výživových potřeb u dětí v mateřských školách. Dále zjistit, jaké jsou nejčastější potravinové alergie a intolerance u dětí předškolního věku, jaké speciální výživové potřeby poskytují mateřské školy těmto dětem a jak mají ošetřenou problematiku speciálních výživových potřeb z právního hlediska. Dalším cílem je sepsat případové studie dětí předškolního věku s určitou potravinovou alergií nebo potravinovou intolerancí. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části, část teoretickou a část praktickou, přesněji část výzkumnou. Teoretická část obsahuje na základě rešerše odborné literatury a odborných článků kapitoly charakterizující výživová omezení, jako jsou potravinové alergie, intolerance a nemoci, výživu v mateřské škole a jaký vliv má výživa na děti. Praktická část se skládá ze dvou částí. První část předkládá vyhodnocení dotazníkového šetření současné situace týkající se speciálních výživových potřeb u dětí v mateřských školách. V druhé části jsou představeny případové studie vybraných dětí z mateřských škol, u kterých je diagnostikována potravinová alergie nebo intolerance.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with special needs in the field of nutrition of a preschool age child. The main aim of this diploma thesis is to assess the current situation regarding special nutritional needs of children in nursery schools. It will seek to find out what are the most common food allergies and intolerances of preschool children, what special nutritional needs are provided by nursery schools to these children and how they have resolved the issue of special nutritional needs from the legal point of view. An additional goal is to write case studies of preschool children with certain food allergies or food intolerances. The thesis is divided into two parts, the theoretical part and the practical part, more precisely research part. The theoretical part is based on professional literature, articles and contains chapters characterizing various nutritional restrictions, such as food allergies, intolerances and diseases, nutrition in nursery school and what effect nutrition has on children. The practical part consists of two parts. The first part presents an evaluation of a questionnaire survey of the current situation regarding special nutritional needs of children in nursery schools. The second part presents case studies of selected children from nursery schools who have been diagnosed with food allergy or intolerance.
