Abstract:
Práce pojednává o tématu černošského letectví v době tzv. Harlemské renesance. Černošské letectví je zde prezentováno coby doposud nepříliš známý fenomén v černošském tisku daného období a také v v žurnalistických textech a novelách George S. Schuylera, jednoho z nejvýznamnějších černošských novinářů a veřejných intelektuálů v období Harlemské renesance.Abstract:
This dissertation project recovers and explores the history, cultural significance, and artistic representation of early black aviation within the context of the Harlem Renaissance.
