Abstract:

Předložená diplomová práce se zaměřuje na problematiku vztahu žáků ke škole s ohledem na přítomnost spolužáků se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami ve třídě. I navzdory integračním a inkluzivním snahám několika posledních let totiž stále v praxi přetrvávají předsudky vůči žákům se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami. Právě přítomnost spolužáka se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami může hrát zásadní roli ve vztahu ostatních žáků ke škole a v následné motivaci k učení spojené s akademickými výsledky žáků. Cílem diplomové práce je proto zjistit, zda přítomnost žáka se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami negativně či pozitivně ovlivňuje vztah ostatních spolužáků ke škole. Dosažení stanoveného cíle bylo možné díky dvěma částem práce - teoretické a empirické. Teoretická část poskytla ucelený přehled problematiky týkající se vztahu žáků ke škole a žáků se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami podložený vybranými studiemi a výzkumy zabývajícími se zmíněnými tématy. Empirická část práce pak popisuje průběh dotazníkového šetření, které proběhlo na 1. i 2. stupni základních škol. Dotazníkové šetření přineslo cenná data od 318 respondentů, kteří odpovídali na celkem 58 položek dotazníku. Data byla zpracována do přehledných tabulek a grafů a následně vyhodnocena a adekvátně interpretována. Díky získaným datům se podařilo zjistit, že vnímání žáků se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami ostatními spolužáky dosahuje pozitivních hodnot. Stejně tak bylo identifikováno, že i vztah žáků ke škole je spojen převážně s pozitivními pocity. Diskuzní část práce poté získané výsledky analyzuje a diskutuje je s ostatními autory. Závěr práce předkládá možné limity provedeného výzkumu a navíc obsahuje doporučení pro praxi a případný navazující výzkum.

Abstract:

The presented diploma thesis is focused on the pupils' relationship toward school in relation to the presence of classmates with special educational needs. The prejudices toward pupils with special educational needs still persist despite integration and inclusive efforts in recent years. The presence of a classmate with special educational needs could play a crucial role in the relationship of other pupils toward school and their subsequent motivation toward learning connected with their academic performance. The aim of the diploma thesis is to find out whether the presence of a pupil with special educational needs influences the relationship of other classmates toward school in negative or positive way. The achievement of the set goal was made possible through two parts of work - theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part provides a comprehensive overview of the issues related to the relationship of students toward school and of the pupils with special educational needs, supported by selected studies and research on the mentioned topics. The empirical describes the course of a questionnaire survey conducted at the primary and lower-secondary school levels. The survey provided valuable data from 318 respondents who answered a total of 58 questionnaire items. The data was processed into clear tables and graphs, then evaluated and adequately interpreted. Thanks to the obtained data, it was possible to find out that the perception of students with special educational needs by other classmates reaches positive values. It was also identified that the relationship of students toward school is predominantly associated with positive feelings. The discussion section of the work analyzes the obtained results and discusses them with other authors. The conclusion of the work presents possible limitations of the conducted research and additionally includes recommendations for practice and potential follow-up research.
