Tato diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou mentálního postižení, a to konkrétně dopady péče o dospělého jedince s lehkým až středně těžkým mentálním postižením na život jeho rodičů. V teoretické části se práce zaměřuje na vymezení mentálního postižení, charakterizuje příčiny jeho vzniku, uvádí jeho klasifikaci a specifikuje lehkou a středně těžkou mentální retardaci. This thesis deals with the problems of mental disability, specifically with the impact of care for mildly to moderately severely mentally handicapped person on a life of his parents.
