The diploma thesis deals with the role of women in the first Czechoslovak parliamentary elections, which were held in the spring of 1920. The thesis concentrates primarily on the positions the women held in the list of candidates of the relevant political subjects, on the way the individual parties led their campaigns targeted on the women electorate and on the comparison of the women and men turnout …more
