Diplomová práca sa zaoberá znalosťami sestier v intenzívnej starostlivosti o diagnóze hydrocefalus. Teoretická časť je zameraná na definíciu klinickej diagnózy hydrocefalus, diagnostiku a liečbu. Samostatná kapitola je venovaná ošetrovateľskej starostlivosti o pacienta s hydrocefalom. Empirická časť je zameraná na zistenie znalostí a zvyklostí respondentov prostredníctvom dotazníka.
