Táto práca skúma ako americký indiáni prijali masové mediá do svojeje kultúry, popisuje pozíciu a obraz Amerických indiánov v médiách dominantnej spoločnosti. Práca sa ďalej zameiava na minulosť, prítomnosť a budúcnosť médii amerických Indiánov v ich úsilí informovať o udalostia, ktoré sa ich dotýkajú z vlastného uhlu pohľadu.
