Comparison of bloot concentration of ethanol

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá komparací naměřených výsledků ethanolu v krvi specifickou metodou plynové chromatografie s plamenoionizanční detekcí na Ústavu soudního lékařství Fakultní nemocnice v Ostravě s výsledky orientačních dechových zkoušek, provedených pomocí dechových analyzátorů příslušníky Policie České republiky Moravskoslezského kraje v terénu. Teoretická část je zaměřena na historii, výrobu a druhy alkoholických nápojů, vliv ethanolu (alkoholu) na lidské tělo, včetně právních důsledků užívání alkoholických nápojů. Dále se tato část práce zabývá historií detekce alkoholu v lidském těle pro potřeby policie a způsoby zjišťování hladiny ethanolu (alkoholu) v dechu a krvi od jejich počátků až po současnost. V praktické části byly analyzovány údaje získané z 761 Protokolů o lékařském vyšetření při ovlivnění alkoholem s cílem porovnat výsledky orientačních dechových zkoušek a rozboru krve provedených specifickou metodou plynové chromatografie s plamenoionizační detekcí.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the comparison of measured results of ethanol in blood by a specific method of gas chromatography with flame ionization detection at the Department of Forensic Medicine of the University Hospital in Ostrava with the results of orientation breath tests performed by breath analyzers by members of the Police of the Czech Republic in the Moravian-Silesian region. The theoretical part focuses on the history, production and types of alcoholic beverages, the effect of ethanol (alcohol) on the human body, including the legal consequences of alcohol consumption. Furthermore, this part of the thesis deals with the history of ethanol detection in the human body for the needs of the police and methods of determining the level of ethanol (alcohol) in the breath and blood from the inception to the present time. In the practical part, the data obtained from 761 "Protocols on medical examination under the influence of alcohol" were analyzed in order to compare the results of orientation breath tests and blood analysis performed by a specific method of gas chromatography with flame ionization detection.
