Possibilities of education and information of informal caregivers in the issue of informal care

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřená na zkoumání možností vzdělávání a informovanosti neformálních pečujících v problematice neformální péče o děti se zdravotním postižením. Cílem teoretické části bylo vymezit teoretická, empirická a metodologická východiska pro porozumění výzkumu a na základě odborných zdrojů popsat a analyzovat problematiku neformální péče, získávání informací neformálními pečujícími a vzdělávání neformálních pečujících. Samostatná kapitola byla věnována neformální péči, neformálním pečujícím a také příjemcům neformální péče (děti se zdravotním postižením). Další kapitoly se zaměřovaly na možnosti informační a vzdělávací podpory neformálních pečujících v kontextu koordinované rehabilitace. Výzkumná část navazuje na zjištěné teoretické poznatky. Cílem výzkumné části bylo, zjistit jaké mají neformální pečující osobní zkušenosti se vzděláváním a získáváním informací a z jakých zdrojů informace pro vykonávání neformální péče získávají. Ve výzkumu byla použita kvalitativní výzkumná strategie.

Abstract:

This Master's thesis is focused on investigating the awareness and the possibilities of education of informal caregivers in the area of informal care for children with disabilities. The aim of the theoretical part was to define the theoretical, empirical and methodological starting points for understanding the research and, on the basis of expert sources, to describe and analyze the topic of informal care, the acquisition of information by informal caregivers and the education of informal caregivers. A separate chapter was dedicated to informal care, informal caregivers and also recipients of informal care (children with disabilities). Other chapters were focused on the possibilities of informational and educational support for informal caregivers in the context of coordinated rehabilitation. The research part builds on the established theoretical knowledge. The goal of the research part was to find out what personal experiences informal caregivers have with education and obtaining information as well as from which sources they obtain information for performing informal care. A qualitative research strategy was used in the research.
