Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá integrací jezídské menšiny v Gruzii a Rusku v sovětském a postsovětském období. Cílem bylo stanovit, zda se členům menšiny při integraci do těchto společnosti podařilo si zachovat svou etnickou identitu. V první části jsou představeny klíčové pojmy, Jezídové a jejich základní charakteristiky. Druhá část práce je založena na polostrukturovaných rozhovorech s osmi členy menšiny, kteří si prošli procesem integrace ve výše uvedených zemích. Rozhovory byly analyzovány a poté komparovány. Z výsledků je patrné, že v Gruzii se jim podařilo nejvíce integrovat, neboť klíčovým faktorem zde byl přístup majority. V závěru jsou představeny změny, které ovlivnily jezídskou menšinu.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the integration of the Yazidi minority in Georgia and Russia in the Soviet and post-Soviet period. The aim was to determine whether members of the minority managed to retain their ethnic identity while integrating into these societies. The first part introduces key concepts, Yazidis and their basic characteristics. The second part of the thesis is based on semi-structured interviews with eight members of the minority who have gone through the process of integration in the above-mentioned countries. The interviews were analyzed and then compared. The results show that in Georgia they managed to integrate the most, as the key factor here was the attitude of the majority. Finally, the changes that have affected the Yazidi minority are presented.
