Abstract:
In this thesis we study the probability that in a group of people, at least two of them will share the same birthday date – also known as the birthday paradox. We show the analytical as well as some approximative solutions under the assumption that childbirths are uniformly distributed throughout the year. V této bakalářské práci se věnujeme problematice shody data narozenin u alespoň dvojice osob v skupině lidí, též známé jako narozeninový paradox. Uvádíme analytický i aproximační výpočet paradoxu za předpokladu, že pravděpodobnost narození je stejná pro každý den v roce. Rozšíříme tento problém na shodu data narozenin pro větší skupiny lidí.
