Developments and prospects for development of electronic banking

Abstract:

The main purpose of the bachelor thesis is to properly explain the forms of connection between bank and client as well as define the potential risks arising from this relationship. The thesis is divided into four chapters. The first one describes the development of electronicbanking, moreover explains terms electronic money, electronic wallet, proximity payments and e-commerce. The second chapter focuses on the accessible forms of electronic banking services such as homebanking, internet banking, e-mail banking, GSM banking and various types of credit cards. The next chapter is closely related to the electronic banking security and deals with the forms of protection, besides characterises unfair practices used in order to gain access to client funds. The final chapter is devoted to possible further development of electronicbanking.

Abstract:

Hlavným cieľom bakalárskej práce je analýza jednotlivých foriem a možností prepojenia klienta s bankou a definovanie možných rizík bezpečnosti pri ich používaní. Práca je rozdelená do štyroch kapitol. V prvej kapitole je opísaný vývoj elektronického bankovníctva, definované sú pojmy ako elektronické peniaze, elektronická peňaženka, bezkontaktné platenie a elektronické obchodovanie. V druhej kapitole sú analyzované jednotlivé dostupné formy elektronického bankovníctva akými sú homebanking, internet banking, e-mail banking, GSM banking, platobné karty a ich členenie. V nasledujúcej kapitole sú v rámci bezpečnosti spojenej s elektronickým bankovníctvom uvedené možné formy zabezpečenia ako aj nekalé praktiky využívané pri snahe získať prístup ku klientskym finančným prostriedkom. Záverečná kapitola je venovaná ďalšiemu možnému vývoju elektronického bankovníctva.
