The role of the father in childbirth from the perspective of the mother

Abstract:

Tématem bakalářské práce je Role partnera u porodu z pohledu rodičky. Toto téma je pro ženy důležité k objasnění potřeby partnera u porodu. Práce by měla přiblížit skutečné dojmy a zkušenosti žen, které měly partnera u porodu. Cílem bakalářské práce je zaměřit se na zkušenosti rodiček s přítomností partnera u porodu a na to, zda pro ně byla jejich přítomnost užitečná. Jedná se o práci teoreticko-praktickou, pro kterou byla zvolena metodika kvantitativního průzkumu. Pro sběr dat byl sestaven nestandardizovaný dotazník určený ženám, které měly u porodu přítomného partnera a byly hospitalizované na oddělení šestinedělí. Data získaná z šetření jsou popsána v empirické části práce a shrnuta v přiložených grafech a tabulkách. Z analyzovaných dat vyplývá, že většina žen hodnotí přítomnost partnera u porodu jako přínosnou a považují tento fakt za důležitý. Jako hlavní důvod uvádí nejčastěji psychickou podporu, což se dá považovat za nejdůležitější prostředek pro spokojený porod.

Abstract:

The topic of the bachelor's thesis is the role of the partner in childbirth from the perspective of the mother. This topic is important for women to clarify the need for a partner in childbirth. The work should to bring the closer look the real impressions and experiences of women who had a partner in childbirth and were hospitalized in the ward. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to focus on the experience of mothers with the presence of a partner at birth and on whether their presence was useful for them or not. This is a theoretical-practical work for which the methodology of quantitative research was chosen. A non-standardized questionnaire was compiled for data collection for women who had a partner present at birth. The data obtained from the survey are described in the empirical part of the work and summarized in the attached graphs and tables. The analyzed data show that most women evaluate the presence of a partner in childbirth as beneficial and consider this fact important. As the main reason, he is stated as psychological support, which can be considered the most important means for a happy birth.
