Possibilities of Financial Support for Starting Enterpreneurs.

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá možnosti finanční podpory pro začínající podnikatele. Začínající podnik má obvykle nedostatek vlastních zdrojů pro financování podnikatelských aktivit a také přístup k cizím zdrojům bývá zpravidla velmi omezený. Práce poskytuje přehled vybraných alternativních forem financování a dále přehled možných finančních podpor, které může v České republice začínající podnikatel získat. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části. V první teoretické části věnuje vymezení malých a středních podniků, jejich významu v kontextu Evropské unie i České republiky a obecným možnostem veřejné podpory. Dále je zde uveden přehled možností financování začínajícího podniku vlastními i cizími zdroji. Praktická část je věnována již konkrétním programům podpory, jejich kvantifikaci a zhodnocení jejich významu pro začínající podnikatele.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the possibilities of financial support for starting entrepreneurs. A starting enterprise usually suffers from lack of its own resources to finance its business activities and also its access to external resources is usually very limited. My thesis provides an overview of selected alternative forms of financing,as well as an overview of possible financial support available to new business in the Czech Republic. This treatise is divided into two parts. The first, theoretical, part deals with the definition of small and medium businesses, their importace within the context of the European Union and the Czech Republic, and general possibilities of public support. There is also an overwiev of financing options for start-up businesses, including external sources of funding. The practical part of the work deals with specific support programs, their quantification and an evaluation of their significance for starting entrepreneurs.
