Paper as a medium in art activities

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je didaktickou studií, která zkoumá medium papír pomocí návrhů a realizací výtvarných činností v dětské skupině. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části. Teoretická část se zabývá jednotlivými etapami vývoje předškolního dítěte a jeho výtvarným projevem. Poukazuje na faktory ovlivňující tvořivost a popisuje papír jako výtvarný materiál. Náplní praktické části je návrh a realizace nestereotypních výtvarných činností, které jsou reflektovány a fotograficky dokumentovány. Práce reaguje na problém výtvarné výchovy v současných mateřských školách vzdělávací nabídkou, která klade důraz na faktory pozitivně ovlivňující tvořivost dětí.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is a didactic study that researches paper as a medium by means of designs and implementation of various creative activities in a given children’s group. Bachelor thesis consists of two parts. The theoretical part focuses on individual stages of preschool children’s development and its artistic expressions throughout. Within this part the main factors that affect child’s creativity are pointed out and paper as subject of this thesis is being described as art material. In the practical part new non-stereotypical art activities are being proposed and photographically documented from their design to realization with their respective reflective evaluation. This bachelor thesis tries to tackle a problem with art education in present day kindergartens by offering a unique set of educational proposals that put emphasis on factors that positively influence children’s creativity.
