Strategic management of the municipality of Hradec Králové city

Abstract:

Obsahem této práce je strategický management magistrátu města Hradec Králové. V první části je strategický management rozebrán teoreticky. Další kapitola se zaměřuje na specifika strategického managementu ve veřejné správě. Nejprve na veřejnou správu a její historii v České republice. Dále pak na rozdíly mezi strategickým managementem v sektoru veřejném a soukromém. Praktická část se poté věnuje představení města, jeho úřadu a analýze současné socioekonomické situace ve městě. V následující kapitole je podrobněji rozebrán postup strategického plánování v Hradci Králové a některé z jeho rozvojových bloků. Pro tyto oblasti je pak popsána jejich vize, SWOT analýza a jednotlivá opatření. V poslední kapitole je hodnoceno plnění těchto bloků a popsány doporučení a návrhy na zlepšení do budoucna.

Abstract:

The content of this work is strategic management of Hradec Králové city council. The first part is focused on theoretical description of the strategic management. Another chapter focuse on the specifics of strategic management in public services. Firstly, public administration and its history in the Czech Republic and than the differences between strategic management in public and private sector. The practical part is devided to the presentation of the city, its office and analysis the current socio-economic situation in the city. In the next chapter is further more described process of strategic planning in Hradec Králové and some of its development blocks. For these blocks is then described their vision, SWOT analysis and next steps. In the last chapter is evaluated the observance of these blocks, and described the recommendations and suggestions for improvements in the future.
