Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá komunikací s klienty s Alzheimerovou chorobou z pohledu sociálních pracovníků. Cílem práce je zjistit a charakterizovat, jak sociální pracovníci vnímají komunikaci s klienty s Alzheimerovou chorobou. Bakalářská práce má dvě části - teoretickou a výzkumnou. Teoretická část popisuje Alzheimerovu chorobu - konkrétně příznaky, dělení a fáze této choroby, rizikové faktory, diagnostiku, terapii a léčbu. Dále se zabývá komunikací, jak verbální, tak neverbální. Popisuje obecné zásady, bariéry komunikace, komunikaci v různých stádiích choroby, zmiňuje i sociální služby pro tyto osoby a definuje sociálního pracovníka. Cílem výzkumu je zjistit a charakterizovat, jak sociální pracovníci vnímají komunikaci s klienty s Alzheimerovou chorobou. Dílčí cíle si kladou za cíl zjistit, jakým způsobem komunikují sociální pracovníci s klienty s Alzheimerovou chorobou, jak sociální pracovníci vnímají náročnost komunikace s klienty s Alzheimerovou chorobou a jak sociální pracovníci vnímají specifika komunikace v jednotlivých fázích Alzheimerovy choroby. Je použita kvalitativní výzkumná strategie, konkrétně polostrukturovaný rozhovor, který je realizován se šesti sociálními pracovníky. Text je kódován otevřeným kódováním a následně zanalyzován metodou trsů. Shrnutí výzkumu a odpovědi na dílčí výzkumné otázky jsou obsaženy v předposlední kapitole. Diskuze je kapitolou poslední.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with communication with clients with Alzheimer's disease from the perspective of social workers. The aim of the thesis is to identify and characterize how social workers perceive communication with clients with Alzheimer's disease. The bachelor thesis has two parts - theoretical and research. The theoretical part describes Alzheimer's disease - specifically the symptoms, types and stages of the disease, risk factors, diagnosis, therapy and treatment. It also deals with communication, both verbal and non-verbal. It describes general principles, barriers to communication, communication at different stages of the disease, mentions social services for these people and defines the social worker. The research aims to identify and characterize how social workers perceive communication with clients with Alzheimer's disease. The sub-objectives aim to find out how social workers communicate with clients with Alzheimer's disease, how social workers perceive the difficulty of communicating with clients with Alzheimer's disease, and how social workers perceive the specifics of communication at different stages of Alzheimer's disease. A qualitative research strategy, namely a semi-structured interview, is used with six social workers. The text is open coded and then analysed using the cluster method. A summary of the research and answers to the sub-research questions are presented in the second to last chapter. The discussion is the last chapter.
