The influence of company culture on strategy and efficiency of small and medium-sized business

Abstract:

Problematika firemní kultury je velmi probírané téma a čím dál častěji se s ním setkávám v praxi, a proto jsem si toto téma vybrala. Firemní kultura je nedílnou součástí všech společností a tvoří základ k úspěchu na trhu. Bakalářská práce se zabývá definicí významu firemní kultury v malých a středních podnicích, jsou popsány jednotlivé prvky firemní kultury a představeny jednotlivé typologie kultury. Dále se zaměřuje na obsah a sílu firemní kultury a strategii, která má vliv na výkonnost společnosti. V praktické části jsem se zaměřila na konkrétní firmu a její analýzu stávající firemní kultury. K docílení těchto poznatků bylo použito dotazníkové šetření, které mi pomohlo vyhodnotit a lépe poznat současnou firemní kulturu. Po vyhodnocení jsem předložila návrhy, které by mohly vést ke zvýšení výkonnosti podniku a zlepšení firemní strategie. Cílem bakalářské práce bylo na základě provedené analýzy, dotazníkového šetření a rozhovory se zaměstnanci zjistit současný stav firemní kultury v podniku a v závěru práce předložit návrh na zvýšení výkonnosti MSP v důsledku zlepšení firemní kultury a případné změny, které přispějí ke zvýšení prospěšnosti podniku.

Abstract:

The issue of corporate culture is highly debated topic and we meet with it increasingly in the practice, and that's why I chose this topic. Corporate culture is an integral part of society and form the basis for success in the market. This thesis deals with the definition of the importance of corporate culture in small and medium-sized enterprises, describes the elements of corporate culture and introduces various typologies of culture. It also focuses on the content and the strength of corporate culture and strategy, which affects the performance of the company. In the practical part I focused on the specific company and its analysis of the existing corporate culture. To achieve these findings, I used questionnaires to evaluate and help me to know better the current corporate culture. After evaluating the proposals I made suggestions, which could lead to increased business performance and improve business strategy. The aim of this thesis was based on the analysis, questionnaires and interviews with staff to determine the current state of corporate culture in the company and in the conclusion to submit a proposal to increase the performance of small and medium-sized business by improving the corporate culture and the possible changes that will increase the benefits of the company.
