Implicit operations on finite algebras

Abstract:

V této bakalářské práci zobecníme některé nástroje univerzální algebry k popisu pseudovariet konečných algeber, implicitních operací a pseudoidentit. Nejprve se seznámíme s metrickým prostorem implicitních operací obecně a popíšeme některé jeho vlastnosti. Později se zaměříme na konkrétní pseudovariety konečných pologrup, kde užitím okruhu p-adických čísel charakterizujeme prostor implicitních operací podrobněji. V závěru práce popíšeme svaz všech podpseudovariet pseudovariety abelovských grup.

Abstract:

In this thesis we generalize certain universal algebra tools to give the theory of pseudovarieties of finite algebras, implicit operations and pseudoidentities. At first, an insight into calculus and properties of the metric space of implicit operations is given. Later on we provide more detailed description of implicit operations on some pseudovarieties of finite semigroups using the ring of p-adic integers. At the end of the thesis we explore the lattice of pseudovarieties of abelian groups.
