Optimization of land rearrangement and use from the point of view of biodiversity protection and support

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou biodiverzity živočichů v zemědělské krajině a hledáním krajinářských opatření pro její podporu a ochranu. Literární část se věnuje pojmu biodiverzity, jejímu významu pro zemědělskou krajinu, současným problémům zemědělství z hlediska biodiverzity, možnostmi hodnocení, ochranou a opatřeními pro podporu biodiverzity. Praktická část se věnuje zemědělské krajině Lednicko-valtického areálu (LVA). Cílem rozborů bylo posoudit stav biodiverzity v území. Kvůli nedostatku existujících dat o nálezech živočichů v zemědělské krajině LVA autorka hledala vlastní metody, jak by se mohla k posouzení biodiverzity alespoň přiblížit. Kromě typickým krajinářským rozborům byla věnována pozornost i definování cílových živočichů po zemědělskou krajinu LVA a zjišťování jejich potřeb v krajině. Při práci s faunou spolupracovala autorka s rakouským konzultantem. Návrh je věnován třem charakterově odlišným oblastem zemědělské krajiny a v drobnějším měřítku zemědělským pozemkům Zahradnické fakulty v Lednici. Podstatnou součástí návrhu byla práce s vegetací a jejími formami. Přínosem diplomové práce je vývoj katalogu liniových struktur krajinné vegetace, který se snaží reagovat na požadavky cílových živočichů zemědělské krajiny.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of animal biodiversity in the agricultural landscape and the search for landscape measures for its support and protection. The literature search deals with the term biodiversity, the importance for the agricultural landscape, the current problems of agriculture against biodiversity, the possibilities of evaluation, protection, and measures to support biodiversity. The practical part deals with the agricultural landscape of the Lednice-Valtice area (LVA). The aim of the analytical part was to assess the state of biodiversity in the area. Due to the lack of existing data on animal findings in the LVA agricultural landscape, the author was looking for her own methods to approach the assessment of biodiversity at least partly. In addition to typical landscape analyses, attention was also paid to defining target animals for the LVA agricultural landscape and identifying their needs in the landscape. The author collaborated with an Austrian consultant while working with the fauna. The proposal is devoted to three different areas of the agricultural landscape and, on a smaller scale, to the agricultural lands of the Faculty of Horticulture in Lednice. An essential part of the design was the work with vegetation and its forms. The contribution of the diploma thesis is the development of a catalogue of line structures of landscape vegetation, which tries to respond to the requirements of target animals of the agricultural landscape.
