Influence of Feuernstein's Instrumental Enrichment - FIE method to progress cognitive function of handicapped children.

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na práci s metodou Feuernstein Instumental Enrichment (FIE) z pohledu rozvoje kognitivních funkcí tří dětí s postižením v časovém úseku 7 měsíců. Kvalitativní výzkum byl prováděn u dvou dětí v MŠ a u jednoho dítěte doma. Výzkum byl zaměřen na dítě s Downovým syndromem, na dítě s mozkovou obrnou v pásmu lehkého mentálního postižení a na dítě se středně těžkým mentálním postižením s přidruženými poruchami autistického spektra. Bakalářskou práci tvoří část teoretická a praktická. Teoretická část se skládá ze dvou částí. První kapitola práce se zabývá stručným popisem vybraných typů postižení s ohledem na výzkumné šetření. Ve druhé kapitole se seznámíme s metodou FIE a jejím zakladatelem, hlavními cíly, dělení. V praktické části je popsána práce s dětmi, podrobné kazuistiky a analýza výzkumného šetření.

Abstract:

Annotation This Bachelor´s thesis deals about Feuerstein´s Instrumental Enrichment (FIE) method with intention of development cognitive functions of free impaired children in time period of seven months.Qualitative survey was made on two children from a kindergarden and on another child staying at home. This survey was directed and concentrated on a child with Down syndrome, another child with cerebral palsy in zone of mild intellectual impairment, the other third child with moderate mental impairment with some other incorporated disorders of autistic spectrum.This Bachelor´s thesis is created with a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part cousists of two pieces. The first chapter of this work deals about a brief description taking of impairment sorts with point at research investigation. In the second chapter there is an introduction with method FIE and with a part about its founder, fundamental goals, dividing of them. In practical part there is a description of working with children, detailed causistic and analysis of research investigation.
