Diplomová práce obsahuje ucelenou studii o politické situaci ve Střední Americe. Věnuje se socioekonomické charakteristice regionu s ohledem na souvislosti se sociálními a politickými problémy. Druhá část se zabývá politickým vývojem regionu i jednotlivých států a zdůrazňuje typické rysy a zvláštnosti. The diploma thesis contains coherent study about political situation in the Central America. It includes social-economic characteristics of the region according to conections with social and political problems.
