Motivation of Pupils by the Teacher as a Part of Pedagogical Interaction and Communication

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce Motivování žáků učitelem jako součást pedagogické interakce a komunikace se zabývá tím, jak docílit aktivního přístupu žáků k vzdělávacímu procesu pomocí motivace. Důležitou roli zde hraje učitel, jelikož ten připravuje a řídí vyučovací hodinu a má vliv na celou třídu. Práce v teoretické části představuje hlavní motivační faktory v rámci pedagogické interakce a komunikace. Empirická část přináší případovou studii, kde na základě informací získaných pozorováním a následnými rozhovory interpretuji konkrétní případ motivování žáků učitelkou anglického jazyka. Zjištění plynoucí z případové studie zasazuji do teoretického rámce a tím provazuji teoretickou a empirickou část. Cílem práce je představit způsoby motivování žáků učitelem ve školním prostředí.

Abstract:

The bachelor work Motivation of Pupils by the Teacher as a Part of Pedagogical Interaction and Communication deals with the ways how to use motivation in the educational process to achieve pupils’ active approach to learning. It is primarily the teacher who influences the learning process because he plans and manages the lesson and his personality affects the pupils and their attitude to learning. The theoretical part of my work contains the main motivational factors within pedagogical interaction and communication. The empirical part brings the case study where is described a concrete case of pupils’ motivation by a teacher of English. The materials for my empirical part were gathered by observation in lessons and subsequent interviews with the teacher. Findings gained in my empirical part were incorporated into the theoretical framework. The theoretical and empirical parts of my work were interconnected this way. The aim of my work is to show the ways of pupils’ motivation by a teacher in the school environment.
