Learning the everyday life between three generations of women

Abstract:

The master's thesis deals with the current topic of intergenerational learning in the family. It examines how three generations of women learn from each other about learning everyday life, how they take care of their households and how they share this knowledge. The work is classically divided into theoretical and empirical part, while the theoretical part deals with three basic areas - family, intergenerational learning and household. The first circle defines the family, its functions and upbringing in the family, as well as family coexistence. In the second area, I deal with intergenerational learning in general, intergenerational learning in the family, and last but not least, the transformation of the family in terms of intergenerational learning. The last, third circle of the theoretical part is devoted to the household, the management of the household in the family itself, and also to the changes in the division of labour in the care of the household over time. The core of the thesis is the empirical part, which describes the methodological procedure and results of the research, which was carried out using semi-structured interviews with three families. There were three generations of women in each family - a daughter, a mother and a grandmother. The purpose of the research survey is to answer the question: In what ways do three generations of women in the family share home care learning to each other?

Abstract:

Magisterská diplomová práca sa zaoberá aktuálnou témou medzigeneračného učenia v rodine. Skúma, akým spôsobom sa medzi sebou učia tri generácie žien v súvislosti s učením každodennosti života, ako sa starajú o svoje domácnosti a akými spôsobmi si tieto znalosti predávajú. Práca je rozdelená klasicky na teoretickú a empirickú časť, pričom teoretická časť sa venuje trom základným okruhom – rodine, medzigeneračnému učeniu a domácnosti. V prvom okruhu je definovaná rodina, jej funkcie a výchova v rodine, a taktiež rodinné súžitie. V druhom okruhu sa venujem medzigeneračnému učeniu vo všeobecnosti, medzigeneračnému učeniu v rodine, a v neposlednom rade premenám rodiny z hľadiska medzigeneračného učenia. Posledný, tretí okruh teoretickej časti je venovaný domácnosti, samotnému vedeniu domácnosti v rodine, a tiež premenám deľby práce v starostlivosti o domácnosť v priebehu času. Jadrom diplomovej práce je empirická časť, kde je popísaný metodologický postup a výsledky výskumného šetrenia, ktoré bolo realizované prostredníctvom pološtrukturovaných rozhovorov s tromi rodinami. V každej rodine boli tri generácie žien – dcéra, matka a stará mama. Zámerom výskumného šetrenia je odpovedať na otázku: Akými spôsobmi si tri generácie žien v rodine medzi sebou predávajú učenie starostlivosti o domácnosť?
