Administrative structure and history of social care in the Uherské Hradiště region (1880s - 1970s)

Abstract:

Obsahem této práce je správní struktura a historie sociální péče na Uherskohradišťsku v 80. letech 19. století až v 70. letech 20. století. Práce začíná stručnou charakteristikou správních a sociálních dějin na Uherskohradišťsku, dále popisuje vývoj sociální péče od počátků. Práce se zaměřuje na dějiny okresních péčí o mládež, které byly na Uherskohradišťsku čtyři, sídlily v Bojkovicích, Uherském Hradišti, Uherském Brodě a Uherském Ostrohu. Dále je práce zaměřená na dva ústavy sociální péče na Velehradě a útulek v Bojkovicích.

Abstract:

The contents of this thesis is administrative structure and history of social work in the Uherskohradišťsko region from 1880s to 1970s. The thesis begins with a brief description of administrative and social history of the Uherskohradišťsko region. Further on, it describes the development of social work from its beginnings. The thesis focuses on the history of district cares for the youth. There were four of them in the Uherskohradišťsko region and they had a seat in Bojkovice, Uherské Hradiště, Uherský Brod and Uherský Ostroh. Furthermore, the thesis is focused on two institutes of social work in Velehrad and on the asylum in Bojkovice.
