Abstract:

Práce se zabývá problematikou členství České republiky v Evropské unii. Cílem této práce je a) vytvořit ucelený obraz o vývoji Evropské unie, b) shrnout nejzásadnější informace o podmínkách vstupu České republiky a c) charakterizovat historické aspekty evropské integrace, ale také d) odpovědět na otázku jaké jsou důsledky členství České republiky v Evropské unii. Ve své bakalářské práci se autorka zamýšlí nad základy fungování Evropské unie, komu slouží a jsou ku prospěchu. Autorka hledá odpověď na otázky přínosů, ale také důsledků členství České republiky v Evropské unii. V závěru se autorka věnuje především tomu, jakým směrem dle soudu autora by se měla Evropská unie integrovat a jaká úloha přináleží České republice, jako plnohodnotnému členskému státu. V práci autorka klade důraz na její praktickou rovinu. Pomocí dotazníku, který se bezprostředně dotýká aktuálního vnímání členství v Evropské unii občany budou zjištěny názory našich občanů, na dosavadní působení České republiky v Evropské unii a zda toto členství splnilo jejich očekávání v návaznosti na odhlasované referendum o vstupu České republiky do Evropské unie. Dva autorčiny studijní pobyty ve Štrasburku (2016) a v Bruselu (2017) v Evropském Parlamentu byly velmi přínosné k napsání této bakalářské práce.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the issue of Czech Republic membership in the European Union. The aim of this thesis is a) to create a comprehensive picture of the development of the European Union, b) to summarize the most important information on the conditions of accession of the Czech Republic, and c) to describe the historical aspects of European integration, but also d) to answer the question of the consequences of the Czech Republic's membership in the European Union. The author considers in her bachelor thesis the fundamentals of the functioning of the European Union to whom it serves and benefits. The author seeks to answer the questions of benefits but also the consequences of the membership of the Czech Republic in the European Union. In conclusion, the author focuses on the direction in which the European Union should be integrated and what role is the Czech Republic as a full-fledged member state. In the thesis, the author emphasizes its practical level. With the help of a questionnaire which directly affects the current perception of citizenship in the European Union, the opinions of our citizens will be ascertained, the Czech Republic's current presence in the European Union and whether this membership has met their expectations in connection with the referendum on the Czech Republic's accession to the European Union. Two author's study stays in Strasbourg (2016) and Brussels (2017) in the European Parliament were very beneficial for elaboration of this thesis.
