Abstract:

Abstrakt Přichází nové požadavky na dodržování pravidel a regulací, zvyšuje se konkurence, přicházejí nové technologické inovace, zvyšuje se nutnost udržet systémy v chodu bez zbytečných výpadků, zvyšují se také nároky na bezpečnost a ochranu dat proti zneužití. Management firem pak od IT vyžaduje zejména zvýšení produktivity uživatelů, snížení nákladů na provoz, zvýšenou orientaci na externího i interního zákazníka a samozřejmě podíl na generování obchodních výsledků. Oddělení IT, dodavatelé i ostatní firmy v oboru jsou tak nuceny postupně měnit svůj přístup k informačním technologiím. Je třeba začít vnímat IT infrastrukturu jako ucelenou oblast – tedy celek poskytující definované služby uživatelům. Současně je třeba nezaměřovat se pouze na funkce, ale spíše na potřeby uživatelů a firem, dále řešit komplexně náklady na IT a adoptovat osvědčené postupy a zkušenosti vedoucí ke zlepšení fungování a snížení náročnosti. Jednou z možných cest nového přístupu k IT je například metoda optimalizace IT infrastruktury.

Abstract:

Abstract New requirements on respecting rules and regulations are coming, competition is increasing, new technological innovations arrive, it is more necessary to keep systems in process without failures, also demand on security and protection of data against misuse increases. Top management then requires from IT department especially increasing user productivity, decreasing costs on company operation, increased orientation on both external and internal customers and of course share in generating business results. So IT departments, suppliers and other firms in the branch are bound to gradually change their approach to information technologies. It is necessary to begin understanding IT infrastructure as a compact sphere – a complex providing defined user services. At the same time it is necessary not to focus only on functions, but rather on needs of users and companies, further solve costs on IT in complex and adopt approved methods and experiences leading to operation improvement and demands reduction. One of possible ways of the new approach to IT is for example the method of optimizing IT infrastructure.
