Veřejný pořádek představuje právní pojem, jehož účelem je poskytovat ochranu významným hodnotám a zásadám právního řádu a společen-ského zřízení, na nichž je nutno trvat. Ordre public represents a legal term, whose aim is to provide protec-tion to crucial values and principles of legal order and social establish-ment, which have to be respected.
