Research of the labour market in the Mladá Boleslav district and comparison with the Mělník and Nymburk districts in 2000-2021

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá zkoumáním trhu práce v okrese Mladá Boleslav a následnou komparací s vybranými okresy Středočeského kraje v letech 2000-2021. Zvoleny byly okresy Mělník a Nymburk. Mezi zkoumané ukazatele patří nabídka a poptávka na trhu práce či nezaměstnanost. Teoretická část práce se věnuje vysvětlení základních pojmů spojených s trhem práce a také je stručně popsán charakter pandemie Covid-19. Pomocí statistických dat získaných z veřejných databází Českého statistického úřadu, Ministerstva práce a sociálních věcí a Úřadu práce ČR je v praktické části analyzován vývoj jednotlivých ukazatelů na trhu práce v okrese Mladá Boleslav. Komparace s vybranými okresy ukazuje, že okres Mladá Boleslav z nich má nejnižší podíl nezaměstnaných osob, který se zároveň drží dlouhodobě pod průměrem celého Středočeského kraje. Na základě provedeného zkoumání je potvrzena hypotéza, že Covid-19 neměl velký vliv na trh práce v okrese Mladá Boleslav.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the research of the labour market in the Mladá Boleslav district and the subsequent comparsion with selected districts of the Central Bohemian Region in the years 2000-2021. The districts of Mělník and Nymburk were elected. The indicators examined include labour market suply and demand or unemployment. The teoretical part of the tesis is devoted to the explanation of basic concepts related to the labour market and the nature of the Covid-19 pandemic is briefly described. Using statistical data obtained from public databases of the Czech Statistical Office, the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs and th Labour Office of the Czech Republic, the partical part analyses the development of individual labour market indicators in the Mladá Boleslav district. The comparsion with selected districts shows that the Mladá Boleslav district has the lowest share of unemployed persons among them, which is at the same time below the average of the whole Central Bohemian Region. On the basis of the conducted research, the hypotesis that Covid-19 did not have a large impact on the labour market in the Mladá Boleslav district is confirmed.
