Analysis of management accounting application in a specific enterprise

Abstract:

Tématem této bakalářské práce je nástin manažerského řízení s využitím metod manažerského účetnictví resp. controllingu v konkrétní společnosti Model Obaly a.s. dotýkající se konkrétně oblastí reportingu, kalkulací a alokace nákladů. Práce se skládá ze dvou částí, přičemž teoretická část je věnována popisu vztahu manažerského a finančního účetnictví, vymezení a charakteristice manažerského účetnictví, manažerskému pojetí nákladů a stručné deskripci kalkulace nákladů. Cílem praktické části práce bylo metodou interpretativní analýzy identifikovat některá „slabá místa“ ve zkoumaných oblastech zaměření controllingu ve společnosti a naznačit určitý možný způsob řešení, které by mohlo přispět ke zlepšení manažerského účetnictví resp. controllingu jako nástroje pro potřeby řízení a informačního zázemí ve společnosti Model Obaly a.s.

Abstract:

The topic of this bachelor thesis is an outline of management using the methods of managerial accounting or rather controlling in a particular company Model Obaly a.s. specifically related to reporting, costing and cost allocation. The thesis consists of two parts, the theoretical part is devoted to the description of the relationship between managerial and financial accounting, definition and characteristics of managerial accounting, managerial conception of costs and brief description of cost calculation. The aim of the practical part of the thesis was to use some interpretative analysis to identify some "weak points" in the areas of focus of controlling in the company and to indicate a possible way of solution that could contribute to the improvement of managerial accounting or more precisely of controlling as a tool for the management needs and information background in Model Obaly a.s.
