Social services for Persons with serious Disabilities in the Zlin Region

Abstract:

V první kapitole charakterizuji těžké postižení a souběžné postižení více vadami. Přesně definuji mentální retardaci, tělesné postižení, hluchoslepotu a poruchy autistického spektra. Vysvětlila jsem také narušenou komunikační schopnost u dětí/osob s kombinovaným postižením. Ve druhé kapitole jsem se zaměřila na vysvětlení pojmů ucelená rehabilitace a rehabilitace z pohledu jak lékařského, tak speciálně pedagogického. Následně jsem popsala její jednotlivé složky: léčebnou rehabilitaci, pedagogickou rehabilitaci, sociální a pracovní rehabilitaci. Ve třetí kapitole jsem nejdříve definovala služby sociálního zabezpečení dle Mezinárodní klasifikace funkčních schopností, disability a zdraví a následně jsem charakterizovala sociální služby dle platného zákona o sociálních službách. Po této teoretické části jsem mapovala sociální služby Zlínského kraje na základě Registru poskytovatelů sociálních služeb. Sledovala jsem sociální služby pro osoby se zdravotním postižením. Čtvrtá kapitola je výzkumná. Zaměřila jsem se na jednu neziskovou organizaci ve Vsetíně, která nabízí sociální služby pro osoby s těžkým a kombinovaným postižením. Vytýčila jsem si konkrétní ukazatele, které jsem sledovala a výsledky analýzy zpracovávala, v závěru celkově vyhodnotila.. Pro větší přehlednost jsem informace vyhodnotila také formou tabulek a grafů.

Abstract:

In Chapter 1, I focused on a definition of severe handicaps and multiple disabilities. I provided an accurate definition of mental retardation, physical handicap, deaf blindness and autism spectrum disorder. I also provided an explanation of substantial communication disorders of people with multiple disabilities. In Chapter 2, I focused on explanations of terms: integrated rehabilitation and rehabilitation from the medical point of view as well as the special educational view. Further, I provided a description the individual components of the rehabilitation: medical, pedagogical, social and work rehabilitation. In Chapter 3, I defined social services according to the international classification of functional abilities, disabilities and health and then I characterized social services according to the valid Czech legal documents, e.g., Act on Social Services. Following the theoretical part, I mapped provision of social services in the Zlín district using the Register of social services providers. I focused on the provision of social services for the handicapped. Chapter 4 is experimental. I focused on a nonprofit-making organization in Vsetín that provides social services for severe handicapped with multiple disabilities. I defined concrete indicators that I monitored, analyzed and assessed. For a clearer overview of the results, I decided to present the outputs in forms of tables and charts.
