Communication flows and structure of student communication with the University of Ostrava

Abstract:

Předložená bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou komunikace mezi studenty Ostravské univerzity a touto organizací. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a empirickou část. V první části jsou vysvětleny pojmy pojící se se sociální komunikací a komunikačním klimatem v organizaci a charakterizovány specifika vysoké školy jako organizace. Druhá část se věnuje metodice výzkumu, konkrétním výsledkům výzkumného šetření, které proběhlo na Filozofické fakultě Ostravské univerzity a návrhům a doporučením. Cílem práce je popsat, jakým konkrétním způsobem studenti a univerzita mezi sebou nejčastěji komunikují a v jakých situacích se využívají konkrétní komunikační toky, kanály a nástroje.

Abstract:

The presented bachelor thesis deals with the issue of communication between students of the University of Ostrava and this organization. The work is divided into theoretical and empirical part. The first part explains the concepts related to social communication and the communication climate in the organization and characterizes the specifics of the university as an organization. Second part deals with the research methodology, the specific results of the research survey, which took place at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Ostrava and the proposals and recommendations. The aim of the thesis is to describe in a specific way students and the university most often communicate with each other and in what situations specific communication flows, channels and tools are used.
