Application of responsibility accounting in a specific company

Abstract:

Předmětem diplomové práce „Aplikace odpovědnostního účetnictví v konkrétním podniku“ je analýza nástroje odpovědnostního řízení v podniku, odpovědnostního účetnictví, dále doporučených ukazatelů pro hodnocení odpovědnostních středisek, jejich reportingu a také motivačních aspektů jejich užívání. Cílem je zhodnotit stávající systém ukazatelů užívaných pro hodnocení výkonnosti v konkrétní společnosti, jejich reportingu a na ně navázaných stimulačních nástrojů a navrhnout možnosti jeho zlepšení. Za tímto účelem práce nejprve uvádí teoretická východiska uvedené problematiky a poté se již věnuje její praktické aplikaci ve zvoleném podniku. Na základě analýzy této aplikace jsou identifikována problematická místa v systému podniku a jsou navržena jejich možná zdokonalení.

Abstract:

The subject of this diploma thesis “Application of responsibility accounting in a specific company” is an analysis of a responsibility management tool, responsibility accounting, recommended indicators for assessment of responsibility centres and their reporting, and motivational aspects of their use. The goal of the thesis is to evaluate the existing system of indicators used to assess performance of the specific enterprise, their reporting system, and incentive instruments attached to them to identify opportunities for improvements. With this purpose in mind, the thesis first introduces theoretical background of the topic and then deals with its application in the chosen enterprise. Based on the analysis of this application, the thesis identifies systemic weaknesses within the enterprise and suggests possible improvements.
