Tato práce se zabývá sémanticko-syntaktickou analýzou trpného rodu v angličtině. Předmětem analýzy je část sbírky povídek a její český překlad. Cílem práce je zkoumat použití trpného rodu v angličtině a následné porovnání s použitím trpného rodu v češtině.Abstract:
The thesis deals with the semantico-syntactic analysis of the passive voice in English. The subject of the analysis is a part of a collection of short stories and its Czech translation. The aim of the thesis is to study the usage of the passive voice in English, which is then compared to the passive voice usage in Czech.
