Perception of pregnancy, childbirth and puerperium by the father of the baby

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá vnímáním těhotenství, porodu a šestinedělí otcem dítěte. Zaměřuje se zejména na to, jaké nové situace přináší dnešní doba mužům, novopečeným otcům, a jak tyto nové role velká část mužské populace vnímá a prožívá. Teoretická část seznamuje stručně s historií porodnictví, s rolí mužů v tomto období. Dále popisuje jednotlivá období těhotenství, porodu a šestinedělí, včetně toho, jak jsou tato období vnímána muži, s čím se musejí potýkat, co je v tomto období čeká. A také jaká je adaptace jedinců na jednotlivé etapy a hlavně na jejich nové životní role. Praktická část se zabývá rozborem dotazníkového šetření, s využitím výsledků k zhodnocení jednotlivých hypotéz. Dotazník obsahuje otázky k těhotenství, porodu a šestinedělí. V diskuzi jsou získané informace zpracovány v konečný výsledek, který vyústil v hlavní cíl této práce, tj. posoudit vnímání těhotenství, porodu a šestinedělí otcem dítěte. V příloze práce je vložen dotazník předkládaný respondentům a také kompletní vyhodnocení všech dotazníkových odpovědí.

Abstract:

The preoccupation of this Bachelor´s thesis is about a perception of the pregnancy, childbirth and puerperium by a father of a baby. The main intent is about the new situations for men of this time, about the future fathers and the new roles that the man population percept and experience. The theoretical part acquaints with the history of midwifery and the role of the men in theses chapters. Also it reports pregnancy, childbirth and puerperium including the men perception of these periods, about what they have to face and what they have to expect. Also, what the adaptation of the individual person to these laps but mainly to the new life role is. The practical part of this thesis pursues the analysis of the questionnaire with a usage of the results to assessment particular hypotheses. The questionnaire involves questions about pregnancy, childbirth and puerperium. The gained information is processed in discussion and put into final output, which lead into main aim, i.e. to qualify the perception of the pregnancy, childbirth and puerperium by the father of the baby. The whole questionnaire that was submitted to the respondents and also the whole evaluation of the questionnaires outcomes is enclosed in enclosure.
