The Regional Operational Programmes as an Incentive of Cultural Tourism

Abstract:

Předmětem diplomové práce je analýza a hodnocení čerpání finanční podpory z fondů Evropské unie pomocí regionálních operačních programů ČR za období 2007 – 2010. Byly vybrány projekty zaměřené na rozvoj kulturního cestovního ruchu. Práce je rozdělena do pěti kapitol, z nichž první tři jsou teoreticky zaměřené. Jsou zde popsána východiska regionální politiky napříč ekonomickými teoriemi, vývoj a nástroje regionální politiky v EU i v ČR a vymezení a financování kulturního cestovního ruchu. Následuje praktická část, kde jsou popsány regionální operační programy a také předpoklady krajů ČR pro cestovní ruch. V závěrečné kapitole je provedeno hodnocení alokace finančních prostředků z ROP na rozvoj kulturního CR.

Abstract:

The focus of thesis is an analysis and evaluation of drawing financial support from European Union´s founds through the Regional operational programmes for the period 2007 - 2010. The projects with orientation on cultural tourism were selected. The thesis is divided into five chapters. The first of three chapters are theoretically oriented. They are desribed the basis of regional policies across the economic theories, development and regional policy in the EU and in the CR and the definition and funding of cultural tourism. It is followed by a practical part, which it is describes the reional operational programs and also the regions ´ preconditions for tourism. In the final chapter, the allocation of financial support from the ROP on the development of cultural tourism was assessed.
