Text se snaží o přehledný exkurz do problematiky dějepisného vyučování v letech 1900 - 1938. Práce nejprve nastiňuje vývoj českého školství a pedagogiky 1900-1938. Dále poukazuje na zásadní okamžiky vývoje školství a historie s propojením na výuku dějepisu. Vymezuje důležitost a účel dějepisu v období Rakouska - Uherska a první republiky. The thesis is about issue of the teaching of history from 1900 to 1938. At first the thesis sketchs the progress in czech education and pedagogy. The thesis adverts to the principal moments of the progress in education and the progress in history with connection to the teaching of history.
