Revenue According to International Financial Reporting Standards

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce „Výnosy v souladu s mezinárodními standardy účetního výkaznictví“ je popsat metody uznávání a oceňování výnosů z pohledu mezinárodních standardů účetního výkaznictví (IFRS). Práce je zaměřena na výnosy z hlavní podnikatelské činnosti společnosti. Pro úplnost je uvedeno srovnání s českou účetní legislativou. V první části budou shrnuty nejdůležitější teoretické poznatky. Ve druhé části budu analyzovat výnosy konkrétního podniku a tuto analýzu završím transformací výkazu zisku a ztráty sestaveného dle českých účetních předpisů na výsledovku sestavenou v souladu s IFRS. Na závěr bude uveden praktický příklad na účtování výnosů dle metody procenta rozpracovanosti.

Abstract:

The target of this diploma thesis „Revenue According to International Financial Reporting Standards“ is to describe the recognition and measurement of revenues from the view of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). The thesis is focused on revenues which arise from the main entrepreneurial activity. For completeness there is a comparision with the czech accounting legislation. In the first part there is summarized the main theoretical information. In the second part I will analyse revenues of a specific company and this analysis will be finished by the transformation of the income statement set up according to the czech accounting legislation to the equivalent statement set up according to IFRS. At the end there will be given a practical example of revenues according to the stage of completion method.
