Analysis of economy and control mechanisms of the city of Prostějov

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřená především na analýzu hospodaření města Prostějov. Analýza byla provedena s využitím informací a poznatků ze závěrečných účtů a schválených rozpočtů města. Bylo využito také informací z informačního systému monitoring ministerstva financí. Teoretická část práce je zaměřena na vymezení veřejného sektoru, veřejných financí a rozpočtové soustavy v České republice. V rámci praktické části práce je nejprve seznámení s městem Prostějov a poté následuje analýza rozpočtových příjmů a výdajů v letech 2016-2020. Na závěr práce jsou uvedena doporučení pro efektivnější hospodaření pro příští období.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is focused on the analysis of the management of the Prostějov. The analysis was performed using information and and knowledge from the closing accounts and budgets of the city. Informaion from the monitoring information system of the Ministry of Finance was also used. The teoretical part of the work is focused on the delimitation of the public sector, public finances and budget system in the Czech Republic. Within the practical part of the work is first acquaintance with the city of Prostějov and then follows the analysis of budget revenues and expenditures in 2016-2020. At the end of the work are recommendarions for more efficient management for the next period.
