Práce se v úvodních kapitolách zabývá pojmovým vymezením domácí-ho násilí, jeho objektů a forem. Návazně je rozebrána současná právní úprava vztahující se k násilí v kontextu Úmluvy Rady Evropy o prevenci a boji proti násilí na ženách a domácímu násilí (zkráceně též jako Istanbulská úmluva). In the introductory chapters, the work deals with the conceptual definition of domestic violence, its objects and forms. Subsequently, the current legislation relating to violence in the context of the Council of Europe Convention on Preventing and Combating Violence against Women and Domestic Violence (also abbreviated as the Istanbul Convention) is discussed.
