Personality development of the manager in the leading position

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce nesoucí název „Rozvoj osobnosti manažera v pozici leadera“ je návrh efektivního způsobu realizace manažerských činností v praxi. Cíle jsem dosáhl za pomoci rozhovorů, pozorování při výkonu práce a studiem interních materiálů, které mi pomohly charakterizovat analyzované stavební firmy a vytvořit popis pracovní pozice ředitele stavební firmy. Následně jsem navrhl v praxi využitelný kompetenční model, který identifikuje kompetence ředitele stavební firmy a člení je do interpersonálních, manažerských, odborných a osobnostních kategorií. Aby bylo možné přispět k rozvoji kompetencí analyzovaných ředitelů Ing. Jana Voldřicha, Ivety Pádárové a Ing. Petra Brehma klasifikoval jsem optimální úroveň rozvoje kompetencí na pozici ředitele stavební firmy a reálnou úroveň kompetencí analyzovaných ředitelů. Zpracované výsledky jsem pomocí komparace vyhodnotil a navrhl opatření přispívající k rozvoji identifikovaných kompetencí za účelem efektivního výkonu na pozici ředitele stavební firmy.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor thesis with the title „Personality development of the manager in the position of a leader” is to design an efficient method of realization of management activities in practice. I achieved the goal by using interviews, observation while working and by studying of the internal materials, which helped me to characterize the analyzed construction companies and to create a job description of a director of a construction company. Then I suggested a competency model, which can be used in practice, which identifies the competences and divides them into interpersonal, managerial, professional and personal categories. In order to contribute to the competences of asked directors Ing. Jan Voldřich, Iveta Padárová and Ing. Petr Brehm, I classified the optimal level of the competency development on the position of the director of construction company and the real level of competences of the directors. I evaluated the results with the help of comparison and I suggested the steps contributing to the development of the identified competences in order to achieve an effective performance in the position of the director of a construction company.
