Gender aspects in electronic music and sound
Abstract:
Bakalářská práce „Genderové aspekty elektronické hudby a zvuku“ pojednává o roli genderu na poli elektronické hudby, zvuku a soundartu. Orientuje se na reprezentaci žen a konkrétněji zkoumá práci těch, které zásadně přispěly k rozvoji elektronické hudby nebo zvukovému umění a jeho vnímání. Dále se zabývá genderovými stereotypy a zkoumá jejich proměny napříč minulým stoletím a dnešní dobou.
Abstract:
The thesis “Gender Aspects in Electronic Music and Sound” deals with the role of gender in the field of electronic music, sound and sound art. It focuses on the representation of women who contributed to the development of electronic music or sound art and its perception. It also focuses on gender stereotypes and examines their transformations over the last century and today.
