Terrorism in Europe

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce je s využitím analýzy dat detekovat základní příčiny vývoje terorismu na území států Francie a Velké Británie a na základě komparativního posouzení dosažených výsledků vytvořit srovnávací matici indikátorů pro zhodnocení podmínek možného výskytu terorismu v České republice. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a analytickou část, návrhy a doporučení. V teoretické části je definován terorismus, historie vzniku a jeho formy. Další kapitoly charakterizují terorismus v České republice a v Evropě. Analytická část se věnuje terorismu v konkrétních státech, analyzuje boj států s terorismem, některé organizace působící na jejich území a teroristické útoky. U každého státu jsou identifikovány konkrétní indikátory příčin terorismu. Poslední kapitola je zaměřena na formy terorismu v České republice. V závěru práce je vytvořena srovnávací matice, jsou zhodnoceny podmínky možného výskytu terorismu v České republice a navržena doporučení.

Abstract:

The objective of the diploma thesis is to use data analysis to reveal the root causes of terrorism in countries such as France and the United Kingdom and based on a comparative evaluation of results to create a comparative matrix of indicators to assess the conditions of possible terrorism in the Czech Republic. The work is divided into theoretical and analytical part, where proposals and recommendations are presented. The theoretical part defines terrorism, the history of its origin and its forms. The next chapters characterize terrorism in the Czech Republic and in Europe. The analytical part deals with terrorism in specific countries, analyzes the struggle of countries with terrorism, describes some organizations operating in their territory and addresses particular terrorist attacks. For each country, specific indicators of the causes of terrorism are identified. The last chapter of the paper is focused on forms of terrorism in the Czech Republic. At the end of the thesis, a comparative matrix is created, the conditions for the possible occurrence of terrorism in the Czech Republic are evaluated, and recommendations that could lead to solutions are proposed.
