Práce zkoumá, jaké obecné překladové tendence jsou v překladech použity a jak se jejich použití v jednotlivých žánrech liší a klade si za cíl prozkoumat jejich rozličnost, odůvodnit jejich použití a okomentovat jejich vliv na překlad jako takový. …more

This thesis focuses on how binomial nomenclature of bird species is translated from English to Czech in various types of literature, exploring what translation specific tendencies are used and comparing their usage between genres. Its main objective is to explore the diversity of the translation specific tendencies, provide reasoning for their usage and reveal their impact on the translated texts. …more
