Analysis of the current position of psychodiagnostics within work psychology

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá zmapováním aktuálního postavení psychodiagnostického testování v oblasti pracovní psychologie v České republice. Navazuje na monitoring používaných psychodiagnostických metod z roku 2004, který byl proveden Svobodou a kol. Práce je zaměřená na zjištění konkrétních testů, které jsou aktuálně používány, dále ne odhalení nedostatků, které jsou u testů psychology vnímány a na analýzu aspektů, které se psychologům nezdají být dostatečné. V práci se zaměřujeme také na širší kontext testování. Zvolenou metodou je explanační výzkum. Na základě odpovědí od 81 získaných respondentů bylo zjištěno, že v oblasti pracovní psychologie je nejpoužívanějším výkonovým testem Test struktury inteligence IST 2000 R a nejpoužívanějším osobnostním testem Bochumský osobnostní dotazník. V rámci diskuse jsou zhodnoceny získané informace a navrženy další možné kroky rozvoje v této oblasti.

Abstract:

This thesis is focused on mapping of the current situation of psychodiagnostics testing within work psychology in the Czech Republic. It builds on monitoring of used methods from 2004 made by Svoboda et al. The thesis is focused on detecting of the particular psychodiagnostics tests that are currently used, furthermore on revelation of shortcomings, which are felt by psychologists and on analysis of those aspects that are not considered sufficient. In this thesis we concentrate also on wider context of testing. Chosen method is explanatory research. Based on 81 responses we found out that in work psychology the most used performance test is Intelligence Structure Test IST 2000 R and the most used personality test is Bochum Personality Inventory. Within discussion gained information are evaluated and possible future steps in development in this field are suggested.
