Compensation and regeneration of Czech Army members

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na kompenzaci a regeneraci příslušníků Armády České republiky. V syntéze poznatků je stručně charakterizována pozice vojáka jako takového. Dále jsou více popsány rozdíly mezi příslušníky bojových jednotek (BJ) a jednotek zabezpečení (JZ), primární útvary AČR, které tyto jednotky tvoří, a jejich typické denní činnosti. Z dostupné literatury pak navazuje popis kompenzačních cvičení a metod, které se při tomto cvičení musí brát v potaz. V rámci regenerace je popsána únava, stres a metody regenerace vč. jejich nejpoužívanějších fyzikálních prostředků. Cíle, úkoly a metodika práce směřují ke zjištění rozdílů mezi jednotkami v oblasti spánku, typických problémů pohybového aparátu, metod regenerace, kompenzačních cvičení a dalších metod. Práce tak byla podpořena dotazníkovým šetřením distribuovaným napříč různými útvary AČR k různým vojenským pozicím. Výsledky byly analyzovány buď celkově, nebo byly rozděleny právě na BJ a JZ a jsou prezentovány převážně formou grafů. Popis k jednotlivým problematikám s dalším komentářem pak následuje v kapitole Diskuse. V deskriptivně-analytické části byly ze zjištěných poznatků doporučeny jednotlivé postupy pro BJ a JZ.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis is focused on the compensation and regeneration of members of the Czech Army. In the synthesis of findings, the position of the soldier as such is briefly characterized. Furthermore, the differences between members of combat units (BJ – “bojové jednotky” in czech) and support units (JZ – “jednotky zabezpečení” in czech), the primary units of the Czech Army, and their typical daily activities are described in more detail. A description of compensatory exercises and methods that must be considered during this exercise follows from the available literature. In the framework of regeneration, a fatigue, stress and regeneration methods are described, incl. their most used physical means. The goals, tasks and methodology of the thesis aim to find out the differences between the units in the area of sleep, typical problems of the musculoskeletal system, regeneration methods, compensatory exercises and other methods. The work was thus supported by a questionnaire survey distributed across various units of the Czech Army for various military positions. The results were analyzed either as a whole or were divided into BJ and JZ and are presented mainly in the form of graphs. A description of individual issues with additional commentary follows in the Discussion chapter. In the descriptive-analytical part, individual procedures for BJ and JZ were recommended based on the findings.
