Téma této diplomové práce je zaměřeno na změnu polohy města Mostu. Je zde zmíněno jak rozhodnutí o demolici starého města, tak i postupná výstavba města nového. Taktéž je práce zaměřena na důvod této zásadní změny a tím byla těžba hnědého uhlí. Několik kapitol je věnováno také průmyslu, který je s městem Most úzce spjat. Abstract:
The topic of this thesis is focused on a change of the location of Most city. The demolition of an old town is mentioned as well as the building-up of a new city. The thesis is also focused on the main reason of this crucial change. The reason was a brown coal mining. Few chapters are dedicated to heavy industry, which is closely bound with Most city.
