Treatment of patients with Alzheimer's disease

Abstract:

Závěrečná bakalářská práce na téma "Ošetřování nemocných s Alzheimerovou chorobou" se zabývá problematikou Alzheimerovy choroby. Cílem je zjistit míru informovanosti sester o této problematice a jaké je vzdělávání v této oblasti. Práce se skládá z teoretické a empirické části. Teoretická část se věnuje obecnému popisu a přehledu rozdělení demencí. Načež navazuje podrobnější popis Alzheimerovy choroby, kde je popsána podstata onemocnění, dále projevy jednotlivých stádií, diagnostika, léčba a stručný popis činností České Alzheimerovské společnosti. V neposlední řadě je zde uváděno uspokojování biologických a psychických potřeb v ošetřovatelském procesu u nemocných s Alzheimerovou chorobou. V praktické části zjišťujeme informovanost sester o Alzheimerově chorobě, kam jsme zařadily vzdělávání v této oblasti a péče o nemocné trpící touto chorobou. Průzkum se uskutečnil pomocí dotazníkového šetření v akutní a následné péči. Výsledky šetření jsou uváděny v tabulkách a grafech v druhé časti práce.

Abstract:

Final thesis on "Treatment of patients with Alzheimer's disease," deals with Alzheimer's disease and to determine the level of awareness of nurses about this issue and what is education in this area. The work consists of theoretical and empirical parts. The theoretical part deals with the general description and overview of the distribution of dementia. Whereupon follows a more detailed description of Alzheimer's disease, where the nature of the disease is described, as well as individual stages manifestations, diagnosis, treatment, and a brief description of the activities of the Czech Alzheimer Society. Last but not least, there is the satisfaction reported biological, psychological needs in nursing process for patients with Alzheimer's disease. In the practical part we inform nurses about Alzheimer's disease, which we have included in the field of education and care for patients suffering from this disease. The survey was conducted through a questionnaire survey in the acute and follow-up care. The results are presented in tables and graphs in the second part of the work.
