Abstract:

Diplomová práce „Hudba jako integrační prostředek – projekt Street Sounds“ se zabývá využitím hudby jako integračního prostředku v procesu multikulturní výchovy. Zaměřuje se na teoretický výklad multikulturní společnosti a multikulturní výchovy v České republice, rozebírá sociálněpsychologické aspekty hudby a fenomén etnické hudby v současném světě. Cílovou skupinou textu je romská menšina a romská hudba. Součástí práce je hudebně-vzdělávací projekt Street Sounds a kvalitativní výzkum provedený s romskými hudebníky. Cílem výzkumu je potvrdit či vyvrátit centrální tvrzení, že hudba je integračním prostředkem.

Abstract:

This thesis „Music as an Integrative Factor in Multicultural Society - Project Street Sounds“ is concerned with using music as an integrative factor in the process of multicultural education. The thesis is focused on theoretic interpretation of multicultural society and multicultural education in the Czech Republic, it also analyses socio-psychological aspects of music and the phenomenon of world music in the contemporary world. The target group is Romany minority and Romany music. This thesis also includes the music-educational project Street Sounds and qualitative research conducted with Romany musicians. The aim of this research is to confirm or reject the hypothesis that music is a means of integration.
